Objective
The Melissa Kulpa Lacrosse Scholarship for Girls aims to empower young women who aspire to excel in lacrosse and pursue educational opportunities. Melissa Anderson Kulpa grew up in a single-parent household, where her mother worked tirelessly to provide for her. Despite the financial challenges, Melissa's determination and passion for lacrosse led her to become a standout athlete, eventually earning her a place at UMass Amherst. Her collegiate career was marked by numerous accolades,
reflecting her skill and dedication to the sport. Inspired by her journey and the support she received, Melissa is committed to giving back to the next generation of female athletes, helping them achieve their dreams both on the field and in the classroom.
Eligibility Criteria.

Applicants must be female high school lacrosse players intending to play at the collegiate level with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Award.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to cover tuition and lacrosse-related expenses. Each year, a scholarship of up to $1,000 will be awarded, depending on the needs and merits of the applicants.
