The Kulpa Foundation’s Kulpa Health Innovations Scholarship Fosters Healthcare Access and Affordability

The Kulpa Foundation, co-founded by Melissa and Jason Kulpa, is excited to announce the launch of its new scholarship program. The Kulpa Health Innovations Scholarship supports students who are committed to improving healthcare access and affordability. This initiative underscores The Kulpa Foundation's dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators in the healthcare sector.

The Kulpa Health Innovations Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are actively engaged in innovative projects that have the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. By supporting these students, The Kulpa Foundation hopes to encourage groundbreaking solutions that can make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all.

"My father's battle with cancer exposed the inefficiencies in our healthcare system and inspired me to establish the Kulpa Health Innovations Scholarship,” explains Jason Kulpa, co-founder of the Kulpa Foundation. “By supporting students dedicated to improving healthcare access and affordability, I aim to honor my father's memory and address the systemic issues families face during medical crises."

Jason and Melissa have substantially bolstered the Kulpa Foundation's financial strength by partnering with The Boston Foundation, a donor-advised fund. This strategic collaboration offers them various philanthropic opportunities and enables them to launch focused initiatives to ease families' financial burdens, aligning seamlessly with the Kulpas' core mission.

The scholarship program will award one scholarship in 2023. These funds will help cover tuition fees, project materials, and other educational expenses. By alleviating some financial burdens, The Kulpa Foundation enables students to focus more on their studies and innovative projects.

Students must meet specific criteria to be eligible for the Kulpa Health Innovations Scholarship. They should be enrolled in an accredited educational institution and pursue a degree or certificate related to healthcare innovation. Additionally, they must be actively involved in projects to improve healthcare access and affordability.
